How to make money with my blog, is that what you search for?
Ok, let’s hit that question now. There are many ways to make money with your blog and in this post, I will be showing you how bloggers make their money with their blog. Most successful bloggers, make money with their blog, by just doing these 5 things.
These 5 things are not easy anyway, but if you really want to make money with your blog, I think it’s worth the hard work.
Here are the 5 things most bloggers who really make full-time money on their blog do, and I want you to do the same too.
They create a blog
They create quality and valuable content
They start promoting their blog to get readers
They build engagement with the readers that comes to their site
They monetize their blog and start making money from the readers that come in, through one or different sources of income streams.
Well, these look pretty simple, so then why did I say it’s not easy? Yes, it looks very simple, but I want you to also know that there is much more to each process and the process is not as simple as the list.
Below I am going to expand each process and include some further readings.
These are how to make money from your blog.
1.Create a blog
For you to start making money with your blog, first, you must have a blog. Creating a blog is very easy, but at the same time, it’s also very hard for new bloggers who wish to create a blog but has little or no technical knowledge.
If you are new to blogging and you have little or no knowledge at all, don’t worry! I once started like that also and I am sure I am not the only one, most bloggers started out that way too.
Just like Probloggersaid in one of his blog post “A blog is not a blog without content so once you’ve set your blog up you need to focus your attention upon creating useful content.”Content is king” but not just anyhow content, useful content, quality content, and valuable content is King.
The major key to creating content is to make that content useful, it becomes useless when content is not useful to your readers, you will lose those readers.
So let your focus be to create content that will add value to your readers, that will solve one problem or two, that will change the life of your readers in one way or the other. When you create content that is of value to your readers, they will love you and trust you. And this will really help you if you want to make money from your blog.
3. Start Promoting your blog to get readers
After finish creating your blog and writing compelling content, that is not enough, you have to get your blog out to your audience, don’t just sit back and think that people will visit your blog, no you have to go out and promote your blog to people.
If you really want to make money from your blog, you need to start promoting your blog.
Know your audience, I mean take time to study them, are they really readers? Are they really participating in forums of your niche? Are they really saying and doing what you’re writing about? Are they really active on a certain social network? Who are their followers or who are the following on each of these social networks?
Once you can know all these, it an opportunity for you to build your own presence there, either by leaving good comments on the post or by creating a guest post or by simply answering questions.
You can hang out on all these social networks and start creating values. The point here is to build presence, create connections, build a good relationship and add value.
4. Build connections with the readers that come to your blog/site
After you have created your blog, write good content and promote your blog, you will realize that people have started coming to your blog and they are now engaging with your content.
At this point that the readers are increasing, you now need to start building connections, by responding to their comments, contacting them personally, and by doing everything that you know is needed to do, to keep them coming back again and again.
Building these connections will make it easier for you to make money from your blog.
5. Monetize your blog and start making money from the readers that come in, through one or different sources of income streams.
You will agree with me that all we’ve written down here are plenty of work to do but I am sure that if you can do them well, you’ve placed yourself well and you’ve created yourself the chance of making money with your blog.
As you can see, the first four steps are important to build a solid foundation for making money from your blog. Once these four steps are solid, you will be able to build a lifetime income from your blog.
When these foundations are in place, you can now start trying to make money with your blog.
But please let me remind you this; creating your blog, having great content on it, getting readers and engaging with those readers, does not mean that your blog will keep making you money automatically.
